Spring time, warm days, blue skies... those were the thoughts I had in mind when I choose a sample of Nantucket Blue from Benjamin Moore to create that chalk paint effect.
I ended up using the paint without the chalk formula, the paint was already beautiful and creamy, perfect, and ready to use.
The vanity bench got a whole new coat of Crisp Linen White and no distressing at all. It's so "crispy" and I love it that way.
So the blue paint went to the vanity drawer. As much as I love the color blue, I seem to find a bit challenging to incorporate it into my decor. I think this was just the right amount of blue for me, and I'm happy. I keep thinking of my dear friend Mary, who once had this vanity beautifully displayed in her home, and also does a wonderful job decorating with blues... just beautiful! What do you think dear? Did I do a good job? smiles...
